lizard soup.

Yesterday, was project submission day. Jes and i went to submit our project at like 8.30am. It was like what-the-pong early. But anyway.. i went CNY shopping with roo after that, and... i didnt manged to get anything. Was looking for a pair of shoes, but couldnt get any. oh well.

So while on my way home, i met mum and dad at the lift landing.

Me: eh, so where u all go just now?

Mum: Chinatown lor, so pek (pek means crowded in cantonese)

*looks down at the bag of stuff that mum got*

Mum: Eh, we bought the geckos. The guy at the shop said that it's good for treating sinus.

Me: what?! geckos!? err.. ok..

so when we reached home, my mum showed me the geckos. It comes in a pair. A male gecko and a female gecko, both dried up, looking like specimens from a chinese medical hall.

Went to play mahjong at roo's place today, and i told jiayi and roo about this lizard soup that i'll be drinking and they totally freaked out. roo thought i was drinking komodo dragon juice. haha. like *ROAR* komodo dragon, ok, komodo dragons dont roar. haha..

i guess the soup didnt turn out too bad, but the fact that u're drinking soup with geckos sounded pretty exotic. imagine catching lizards on the ceiling, and adding it into the soup. haha!
