big appetite.

Everyone out there. WEI RONG here, hereby declares that he has a big stomach and a BIGGER appetite! haha.. i got back from dance, and there were these 2 tupperwares filled with fried rice vermicelli.. and i finished them both.. wahaha!

and this is just a random photo i took to show the WORLD how much food i can store in me.. haha...

haha.. The GIRLFRIEND (notice the change in name) asked me just now if she gives in enough to me.. haha.. and we somehow digressed to how well she's treating me.. haha.. I thought for a moment though.. of course i want to be treated better, it's human nature i guess. If there's a chance to be better, why not?

The GIRLFRIEND has no choice but to cook scrambled eggs for me. A new addition to the hard-boiled eggs, half-boiled eggs, poached eggs, fried eggs, sunny side up eggs that i'm used to eating.. haha!

And now i'm beginning to ponder. How much should people give in to others? between couples, friends, parent-child relationships...
Somehow i guess there may be a link between giving-in and tolerance, or do they both mean the same thing? Rather similar in meaning i guess.. haha..
I guess everyone has their own boundaries and limitations.. As long no attempts are made to cross that, then i guess things ought to be fine between friends, whoever they are, male or female. Understand the friends, know their boundaries and the rest is give-and-take.. haha!

And then... there's the complicated part about being a parent and giving in to your child. As in there are times when a child needs to be pampered, but there are also times where sparing the rod would spoil the child. 2 days back, there was a mother holding a cane on the right hand together with a plastic bag of groceries. I really wonder if this is necessary, it looks like a totalitarian system in their family in the eyes of the child, where everything is enforced with the power of the cane. But it seems that the boy doesn't feel seriously intimidated, instead he's happily drinking bubble tea.. So maybe... i'm having a wrong impression of their family and being seriously pessimistic.. haha! But i really think it's so hard to be a parent. All the physical, financial and psychological woes involved. If in the future, if my son turns out to be some scum of the society, that makes me the father of THIS SCUM! Gosh. I'd pray that'd never happen to me..
